Q. How do I download a book to my Kindle Fire?

We have two collections in our Digital Resources that allow you to download eBooks and audiobooks to any Kindle Fire tablet using free apps. If you have a Kindle Fire HDX, that is, any Kindle Fire running OS  5.0.0 and above, you can also download using hoopla. (How to determine what software my Kindle is running.)
