Any of these situations will prevent you from being able to place a hold:
- You have fees of $25 or more on your account.
- Your card has expired.
- You already have 15 physical items or 7 digital items on hold.
- You already have the title on hold.
- The item can be used only in-library.
- The item is in temporary storage during a branch closure.
