The Austin Public Library is not responsible for any unauthorized use of a Library Card. To minimize liability, inform the Library immediately if your Library Card becomes lost or stolen—this applies to the wallet card and the keychain card. Tell us in person at a location or call Customer Service at 512-974-7475. Cardholders are responsible for any items checked out and any fines incurred by the use of their Library Card prior to the card being reported lost or stolen.
