Many of our eBooks can be downloaded onto a device or computer using an app or software, but some eBooks can only be viewed online with a constant internet connection. How to view an item depends on which collection it's from. Each eBook is labeled with its collection name:
These eBooks can be downloaded with an app or software or viewed in a browser:
- EBOOK OVERDRIVE — Get started with OverDrive
- EBOOK HOOPLA — Get started with hoopla
- EBOOK ONECLICK — Get started with OneClickdigital (for download only; no viewing in a browser)
These eBooks must be viewed online in your browser:
- EBOOK EBSCOHOST
- EBOOK GALE
- EBOOK OXFORD REFERENCE
To read an online-only eBook, click View eBook here below or to the right of the collection label. If you are outside of the Library, you will be prompted to enter your Library Card number.
The interfaces for these collections vary but have similar functions. You can often use the Table of Contents to jump to a section of interest or search within the book. Most have limited printing and saving options.
