CloudLibrary provides popular eBook and audiobook titles using a Lucky Day model that differs from our other eBook services. Because it's a Lucky Day Collection, there are no holds allowed; the person who gets lucky and discovers an available copy first gets to check it out.
In the cloudLibrary Lucky Day collection, you can:
- Borrow 1 item at a time.
- Check out for 10 days.
- Use your library card and password to log in.
- Save for Later if the title isn't available.
- Check the app or website often for popular books. It could be your Lucky Day!
Borrowing and Accessing Titles
You can borrow and read/listen directly from the cloudLibrary website or download the cloudLibrary by bibliotheca app for free from your app store. The app is available for iPhone/ iPad, Android, Kindle Fire, Nook, and it is also available in the Chrome web store.
Select Download App from the cloudLibrary website if you need help. The page provides links to information on specific app versions.
When searching the main catalog, cloudLibrary titles will appear as EBOOK CLOUDLIBRARY. This means that the title is in the collection. The book may or may not be available to borrow. Click Check Availability to go to the cloudLibrary website and find out.
After logging into the website or app, use the filters to choose format or to see available titles only. The app has a small filter icon to the right of the search box. If a book you're interested in is unavailable, you can Save for Later, then check periodically to see if it's available.
