OverDrive removed links for the OverDrive desktop app for Windows and Mac on February 23, 2022. For now, existing OverDrive app users that already have the app downloaded will be able to continue using it.

If you downloaded the OverDrive desktop app for Windows and Mac prior to February 23, 2022, and are running macOS 10.12.1 (Sierra) through 10.14 (Mojave), you will be able to continue to use that app and download OverDrive audiobooks to your Mac and transfer them to other devices, like simple MP3 players. Unfortunately this software is not compatible with newer versions of the macOS, starting with 10.15 (Catalina), released October 2019.
