There is no charge for placing a hold. However, there is a $1 fine for unclaimed holds.
You will be notified by email or mail when a hold is available. Holds are held for 10 full calendar days from the date of the notification. Holds not picked up or not cancelled within the 10 calendar day hold period will be assessed a $1 fee per item. This policy was implemented to decrease the high number of unclaimed holds and shorten the wait time for library materials.
