The Library can help connect you to job-finding resources. Please see our information guides for Jobs, especially the Job Searching guide. These guides contain links to job postings, resume and cover letter help, salary information, career assessment, and local organizations that can help.
The Computer, Career, and Business Center at the Carver Branch has access to technology and training. Job seekers can ask for one-on-one instruction and take classes taught by Library staff and volunteers. The Computer, Career, and Business Center is free and open to the public, and parking is free of charge.
Computer, Career, and Business Center hours:
Monday–Thursday: 2 PM–8 PM
Friday–Saturday: 11 AM–4 PM
Also, the Central Library offers a Job and Computer Lab on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3–4 PM. A librarian can answer your questions about searching and applying for jobs, building a resume and writing a cover letter, and more.
