Starting October 25, 2022, the parking lot between the Austin History Center (AHC) and the Faulk Building will be closed. Please park across the street in the 700 Lavaca parking garage. The only entrance is on Guadalupe (on the left, just before the light at 8th Street). Park in any unmarked space and the AHC will give you a validation ticket at the Reference Desk.
If you have a disabled hang tag or license plate, you do not have to pay the parking meters, and there is no time limit.

Temporary Closure
The Austin History Center will close to visitors for a large-scale move on February 16 and re-open April 9. More information is available on their News page.
