If you have registered with My APL:

Use My APL's Forgot Your Password tool or call Customer Service at 512-974-7475 to reset it. For the online option: 

  1. Go to the password reset page, which is linked from the My APL log-in page:

  2. Enter your library card number (by the barcode on the back) and click Send.
  3. Check the email account that we have on file for you. You will receive an email with instructions for changing your password. When you update or change your PIN/password, it must be at least six characters and contain at least one number and one letter. You also have the option of using the following characters: underscores (_), exclamation points (!), at signs (@), and percent signs (%). If you don't receive an email, check your spam or junk folders. To use the Forgot Your Password feature, you need to have already registered with the catalog.

If you have not registered with the catalog:

Call Customer Service at 512-974-7475 to reset your PIN/password. They are open Monday – Thursday from 10 AM to 9 PM and Friday  Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM.
