You may use a computer at any branch of the Austin Public Library to use the internet and Microsoft Office 2010 products.
When using the computers, you have a few options:
- Use an Austin Public Library Card number to access the computers.
- Ask for a paper guest pass from staff. The pass is good for the day.
- Ask staff to create a Computer Account. We will ask for a photo ID and then give you computer account number to use. This is helpful if you do not have a library card but want to use the library computers regularly.
At most locations, you can sign on for 30 minutes at a time. If all computers are taken, you can make a reservation for that day. Reservations must be made in person.
