If you have paid the non-resident fee for an Austin Public Library card, you are eligible to request interlibrary loans through us. Learn more about Interlibrary Loan.
If you have a free Austin Public Library TexShare card, which you received with a TexShare card from your home library system, you may not use our interlibrary loan program. Check with your home library system to see if they can request the book for you, or try the interlibrary program from the Texas State Library,which is open to all Texas residents. Group cards are also ineligible for interlibrary loans.
