If we order a lot of popular books on paper, once they fall out of fashion, the library is left with a lot of copies to withdraw from the collection. When possible, we automatically order more copies of items with more than five holds on each copy (for example, if we own only four copies of a book with more than 20 holds). You might try finding what you're looking for in a different format; e.g., a digital copy in our Virtual Library, or a copy in large type, or on audio CD.
