You can drop off household batteries at any Austin Public Library location.

Here you can find a City of Austin-provided list of additional locations.Tip: call before you go to confirm your location is still participating.

The library no longer offers toner recycling. According to Austin Resource Recovery, toner and ink jet cartridges may be dropped off (by appointment) at the Recycle & Reuse Drop-off Center.
