OverDrive eBooks, audiobooks and magazines can be checked out for 7, 14 or 21 days. 

You can renew OverDrive items once if there are no holds.
 

How to set the OverDrive loan period:

  1. Sign into your OverDrive account.
     
  2. Click My Account at the top right and then choose Settings.
    If you do not see My Account, look for Screenshot of three lines that indicates a collapse menu. to reveal that option and then choose Settings. 
     
  3. Under Lending periods, choose the duration you want for each format. 
     

​The Lending period menu allows you to chose your default lending period. For eBooks, eAudiobooks and magazines, the default is 21 days, but you have the option to toggle between 7 and 14 days.


Your selections are automatically saved for all future checkouts and OverDrive items are automatically returned on their due dates.
