There are several apps available through the Google Play App Store and Apple's App Store that allow you to store your Library Card.
These can generally be found among shopping apps that allow users to store rewards/loyalty cards. Apps like Express Checkout, Key Ring, Stocard, and cloudLibrary are free apps available on both Android and iOS platforms that allow Library Card barcode storage.
You can also choose to manually enter your Library card number at the self-check machines rather than scanning a barcode.
